Welcome to Katch This!

Don't you sometimes wish there was a place you could get honest, detailed descriptions of  experiences before you spend the time, money, or effort to go to restaurant or read a book or see a movie?  Well, you've found the right place!

Here's the back story of what inspired me to start Katch This!  Being a sentimental girl, I always tried to find ways to hold onto experiences I've had.  I first started taking business cards from places I've been to as a reference if I ever wanted to go back there.  The pile of cards started getting out of hand and I started forgetting what I did or ate at these places.  This motivated me to start a spreadsheet of the places I've been to, their pros and cons, their addresses, and my overall experience of them.  However, the spreadsheet was pretty limiting - there was only so much I could write in the tiny cells.  What made it even worse was when my friends would ask me for suggestions for restaurants in NYC.  I couldn't give them good suggestions if I didn't have my spreadsheet readily available in front of me.  *Light bulb*  I thought, why don't I start a blog to organize my suggestions and reviews of things and places I've experienced, for my own reference and for my friends?  I'll have access to them and so could my family and friends and anyone else.

So here we are - my first entry, my first blog.  I know this will be a fun experience for myself and hopefully for others.  I'm open to suggestions, so feel free to email me with any feedback.
